Chats Palace has been running performances and arts activities for over 30 years in the former Homerton Library. We have a flexible performance space (capacity 96 seated or 200 standing), a bar area which can also be used for informal performances, a rehearsal studio and a meeting/study room.

Chats Palace hosts over 200 performances a year blending music, cabaret, theatre, dance, film and spoken word. Our performance programme blends professional companies with local talent and self-generated events, performance groups, outreach projects, workshop participants, and has brought out a MAS Band for the Notting Hill Carnival.

Chats Palace’s outreach programmes aim to involve individuals and communities at the margins of society, using the arts to build skills and confidence and to help troubled people make a positive impact on their situations and society.
