Colour and Black & White Darkroom Opening times

Photochats members can hire an enlarger in either of our darkrooms during the for a 3 or 6 hour session Monday to Wednesday or a 4 or 8 hour session at weekends except when there is a scheduled class.  Bookings should be made at least 24 hours in advance by phoning Peter Young on 020 8986 9283 or by emailing peteryoung83@yahoo.co.uk 
All cancellations must be made by the day before the booking at the latest.  Charges will be made for non cancellation of bookings.

All film formats up to 5×4 can be catered for.
Membership costs £30 per year or £15 per month.

One 3 hour darkroom session costs £10.
One 6 hour darkroom session costs £12.

Enlarger hire (either Black & White or Colour) is £3.00 per hour.
Users should attend a half hour induction before using the darkrooms for the first time.
Four 12 hours worth of pre-booked and pre-paid sessions cost £25.00.  The sessions are to be used within 8 weeks from the time of booking.
All photographic chemicals are provided by Photochats.

One day Black and White Darkroom Printing Courses

Cost: £85 (includes darkroom membership)
          £60 (without membership)

This class is open to photographers of all ages and ability levels (including beginners).
The course will include black and white film processing, making a contact sheet and printing/enlarging.  Students will also improve their understanding of basic camera controls.  The course is designed to enable people to use the darkroom by themselves after this introductory or refresher session.

This is an introductory course that will focus on basic printing and filtration issues.  Bring along some colour negatives.  We will provide the paper for use on the course.

Film Processing
If you don’t have time to do your own Black & White film processing, Photochats now offers a processing service: £5 for process only.

Darkroom equipment sale/camera sale
We have some enlargers for sale.  Fully serviced and in good working order.  We can supply a full home darkroom kit with a decent lens for £100.
There is also a list of extremely cheap film cameras that are available for sale to darkroom users.  Look on the noticeboard in the Black and White darkroom .

Studio East - Wednesday Evening Studio Workshop
Wednesdays: 7pm - 9pm
Cost: £20 per month for 4 or 5 weekly sessions.
