Our first fundraising supper club takes place on Friday 16 March 2018 and we hope you will join us for a fun evening of delicious food in the glorious setting of our Grade ll-listed former library.

Local chef David Bez of Pride Kitchen has created a menu designed to thrill vegans and convert everyone else to the culinary delights of a plant-based diet; we believe this is going to be some of the best food you have ever tasted.

The menu will be delivered in sharing bowls and platters for each table of guests. This is food designed to get you talking so come in a group or by yourself – all Hackney foodies are welcome! The supper club will be taking place in the midst of Hackney’s first Foodie Makers Market, so you’ll also be able to meet a range of local food business and buy locally-made produce direct from them.

All of this has been created to help Chats Palace raise some much-needed money to put a new front door on our heritage building. We have a grant of £5000 from the Theatre Trust and with your help we know we can raise the essential £5000 matching fund. David Bez is the mastermind behind the incredible Pride Kitchen- a plant based, gluten free, and refined sugar free (yes it’s possible!) café, that champions mostly local fresh produce. David’s mission began when he originally set himself the challenge to make salads sexy, that he could prepare from his office desk, making a new salad every day for four years! He didn’t stop at salads! Four successful books later, and Chats Palace is extremely proud to have him on board to take our Supper Club through a culinary and communal experience of fresh, flavourful and colourful sharing platters that will excite and indulge.

Please note there will be two separate sittings: the first at 6.30pm and the second will be at 8.30pm
