During the first three weeks of October 2022, Palace Club members were lucky enough to be joined by Toshi, a Japanese Origami artist working with digital innovators SDNA, on a new project called Hackney Lights.
Palace Club members learnt Japanese traditional paper folding in order to help create giant lanterns that featured in a new public art festival, Hackney Lights.
As our members discovered, origami is a great way to focus your patience and attention span, develop your eye/hand coordination and train up your memory.
We look forward to welcoming Toshi back in March for more origami making sessions!
