Set in a beautiful grade II listed building, Chats Palace is a stone throw from the bustling Chatsworth Road. Our East London landmark provides the perfect setting for a unique and special celebration.

On your big day, you will have full and exclusive use of the ground floor of our venue, complete with wonderful period features which include a bar, main reception hall and beautiful frontage that would be the perfect backdrop for your wedding photographs.

We know how stressful it can be planning and organising everything for your special day, so we offer a personal service to help tailor your bespoke reception or party, from organising catering and flowers and providing a space for the bride and groom to practice their first dance. With the help of our network of local independent businesses we will insure that you have a one of a kind day that has the true feel of east London.

Hackney Sensation

 Your day will begin in the bar with a champagne and canapés reception for your guests on arrival:  the perfect moment for you to get those first wedding snaps! You will then move into the main hall where you and your guests can mingle and enjoy entertainment from either a DJ or live band. A beautiful buffet will be served in the Bar for your guests to enjoy as the evening unfolds.

Our Bar will serve a range of wines and beers chosen by you from our list of suppliers. A standard Bar package of spirts and soft drinks will also be available throughout. Fancy some late night ice cream snacks by Hackney Gelato? We can arrange that too.

This is the perfect package for a long evening of dancing and celebrating. We will help you select your menu from local a catering company and provide you with a list of local musicians to suit your musical taste.

 

Hackney Sensation package includes:
  • exclusive use of our ground floor bar and function room from 2pm until 1am (Late Licence available Fri/Sat events only)
  • an event manager for up to 10hrs to help you with advance planning for your event
  • a 5-person event team to help you on the day
  • secure parking for up to 3 vehicles
  • space for up to 150 of your family and friends to party

Pride of East London

Your day will begin with optional champagne and canapes for your guests on arrival in the Library Bar. You will then move through into the main hall, where you and your guests will enjoy a beautiful sit-down meal prepared by a local catering company or your preferred caterer before moving back into the Library Bar for the cutting of the cake. The hall is then transformed into a disco with a DJ or live music, that we can arrange for you from our list of local musicians.

Our Bar will serve a range of wines and beers chosen by you from our list of suppliers. A standard Bar package of spirts and soft drinks will also be available throughout. Fancy some late night ice cream snacks by Hackney Gelato? We can arrange that too.

The night is then yours to dance away.

 

Pride of East London Package includes:
  • exclusive use of our ground floor bar and function room from 2pm until 1am (Late Licence available Fri/Sat events only)
  • an event manager for up to 10hrs to help you with advance planning for your event
  • a 5-person event team to help you on the day
  • access to a beautiful dressing room for the bride
  • space for the bride and groom to practice that first dance in advance
  • secure parking for up to 3 vehicles
  • space for 100 of your closest family and friends to enjoy a meal
  • space for up to 200 of your family and friends to have a disco in the evening!

Frequently asked questions

Can we bring our own drinks?

We do not offer dry hires and all drinks must be purchased via our Bar. Our Bar Manager will be happy to arrange a drinks package to suit your budget.

What staff will be provided for me?

Our standard package offers a 5-person event team including Event Manager, House Technician, two Bar Staff and one Security Door Staff.

Will your staff set up the venue for us?

Our Event Team will be on hand to help you set up and make sure everything is perfect for your special day.

What styles of seating are available?

If you have a special vision for your party, we have great connections with bespoke furniture companies that can offer a range of seating choices for hire.
